 Welcome to Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS).
Being the Director Academics at LUMHS allows me to lead the institution towards the unwavering success of our students, faculty, and most importantly, our primary responsibility of meeting the health needs of the community we serve. Since LUMHS is dedicated to achieving excellence, we have implemented practical measures to advance in the appropriate way. To ensure that our students receive uninterrupted instruction, we are adequately outfitted with dependable technology and a productive learning environment. We also take pride in offering our students, instructors, and staff a welcoming, secure, and respectful learning and working environment.
To train our students and advance the academic objective of the university, LUMHS provides a wide range of basic, clinical, and subspecialty disciplines along with highly specialized laboratories, skills, and simulation center. Our dedicated faculty members are fundamental in assisting our students as they learn how to navigate the institution. At all learning levels, appropriate supervision is offered in both basic medical science courses and clinical training to help students develop into self-directed lifelong learners with critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical judgment.
We pledge to promote medical education via innovation by integrating social responsibility, research, and education to prepare our students for leadership roles in the world of health. In order to priorities curriculum improvements, mentoring, research, student health and wellness, and novel teaching approaches that are learner-centered, policies, and committees have been established. The outreach community-based placements, electives, and shadowing programmes are additional ways we give our students relevant career planning options early on in their medical careers.
