Programmes for the Academic Session 2024-2025 at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences,
Jamshoro.

Eligibility Criteria
- 18 years of education (i.e. already completed their M.Phil/ FCPS/ MS/ MD and any equivalent
qualification)
- Research experience: applicants with publications and track record of research will be preferred.
- Foreign Graduates will have to produce equivalence of their degree from HEC.
- A Subject / Discipline Test (Computer Based) will be conducted by Postgraduate Medical Centre,
LUMHS Jamshoro.
- Shortlisted Candidates will be interviewed by the Postgraduate Committee.
- One Candidate can not apply for more than one course.
Age Limit:
Ph.D Programme
The private candidate should be under 40 years and in-service candidate should not be more than 50 years of age. Age limit is relaxable as per University policy.
Fee Structure:
All research students will have to pay the fees as prescribed by the authorities from time to time.
Ph.D Programme: Local candidates PKR 100000/-per annum
Oversees US$ 5000 per annum

- Minimum GPA: 2.6 at the scale of 4.0 or equivalent.

- Inservice Candidates will have to obtain no objection certificate from their employer for applying
in Postgraduate courses; however they can send a copy in advance along with relevant
documents.
- No separate call letters will be sent to the candidate for entry test/interviews, candidates are
advised to visit the website for further updates. Incomplete application forms in any manner will
not be entertained.
- In-eligible candidates will not be allowed to appear in entry test/examination.

Eligibility:
The candidates who have at least one year of full time work experience after graduation, in a health-related field or social sector at the time of application (voluntary work, part-time or unpaid internship is not included) and hold at least one of the following degrees are eligible to apply:-
