Liaquat Institute of Medical & Health Sciences LUMHS, Thatta campus is a new star in the world of medical education and innovation established in 2023, as first out station campus of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Pakistan. The college has been established with a commitment to excellence and global perspective, as Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences stands as a beacon of the knowledge, compassion, cutting edge medical research and provision of standard healthcare facilities.

The strategic location of the college makes it more significant as the region around Makli has a rich historical legacy, dating back to the time of the Indus Valley Civilization, around 3300–1300 BCE. Its location near the Indus River contributed to its importance as a center of trade and cultural exchange. Makli's historical and architectural significance led to its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. The establishment of the college not only has revived its excellence in trade and culture but also in medical education, not only at the regional level but also Internationally.
